ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਪੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਪਛੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਅਧੀਨ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 2021-2022 ਤੋਂ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ, ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਅਬੋਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿੱਦਿਆ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਵੇਗੀ।
